About me

I grew up on the Northside of Chicago and am a proud CPS graduate. I am excited to give back to the city that has given me so much. I earned my BA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MA from Concordia University Chicago. As a former Social Studies teacher, I've always loved working with high school students to discover and meet their academic, social-emotional, and postsecondary goals. I am also a certified Breathe for Change Social Emotional Learning Facilitator and a 200-hour Yoga Teacher.

I am married with two stepdaughters and two dogs.  My favorite self-care activities are baking, running, and watching K-dramas.
