About Me
I grew up on the northside of Chicago and have proudly lived here all of my life. I've always had deep connections to food, as my family came over from Sicily, bringing with them their traditions and love of cuisine. Whenever possible, I'd shadow my grandparents, watching them make everything from pasta to homemade sausage.
That love for food eventually grew into something more: a career path that my Mom helped to lead me down.
I attended Kendall College, earning a degree in Culinary Arts + Hospitality. This institution afforded me so many incredible connections that I am still proud to carry on today.
After culinary school, I spent extensive time in restaurants, honing my skills as a pasta maker, whole animal butcher, and more. Over time, I found that sharing my knowledge with others ignited a passion in me to pursue a career path in education.
I am proud to share my skills and love of food with Curie students and families.
