About me

My name is Liliana Chavez, I'm from the Lower West Side of Chicago and I grew up in Pilsen. I'm a first generation college graduate from National Louis University. While attending National Louis I took courses in early childhood education which led me to become a preschool teacher. During my time teaching I fell in love with helping students progress in all areas of development such as academic, social-emotional, language, and fine and gross motor. It was during this time that I learned about the field of counseling and saw a great need for it. I completed my internship here at Curie during the 2022-2023 school year and I received my Master of Science in School Counseling in June 2023. I am very excited and proud to be a Curie Condor once again!

Personally, I have been with my husband for 11 glorious years and we have a 6 year old Yorkiepoo. We love to travel, attend sporting events, and eat delicious food with our family. I also enjoy reading, cooking, dancing and running.
