About me

I was formerly a Security Officer at Edwards Elementary for nearly two years, before that I was a Program Manager for the Chicago Children’s Choir which I worked at for about 6 and a half years. My very first serious job was as a Security officer many years ago and after that I worked in Administration for many years and even owned my own Business at one time. Now here we are many years later and I am back as a Security Officer it’s in my nature to Protect and make sure that the school is a safe zone for our students and staff.

What do you like most about working with students?

I believe working with the high school students will be a little bit more challenging than working with the younger students because they are already becoming young adults, have different personalities, and are learning to express themselves, communicate more, and make decisions that will affect their future. I would like to be supportive by helping with structure in their day-to day life to help for success in their future. I am looking forward in working with the staff as well.
