I have taught at Curie High School for 22 years.  I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physics (2001) from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master's Degree in Geology (2007) from Mississippi State University.  In 2007 I also achieved National Board Certification (NBC) and successfully renewed in 2017.  Prior to teaching, I worked at the Adler Planetarium performing sky shows and observatory tours.  Recently, I taught myself to jump my mountain bike!
