About me
For the majority of my day, I am stationed in the hallway of the B building, where I monitor the area and ensure everything runs smoothly. However, as part of my security duties, my assignments often change, requiring me to move to different locations as needed throughout the day.
Working in security at Curie High School for 32 years, alongside my role as head basketball coach, has been incredibly rewarding. The most fulfilling part of my job is building relationships with the students. Over time, they come to see me not just as a security presence, but as someone they can trust. Balancing safety with connection requires vigilance, but it’s rewarding to be a mentor while keeping the environment secure. Watching the students grow, both on the court and in life, makes it all worthwhile.
